This is a beautiful electric hurricane style lamp designed to resemble an aladdin oil lamp with the tall glass chimney, shade and oil font. This lamp is made by Fenton (signed inside the rim) and hand painted and signed by the artist Frances Burton. The shade is ruffled double crimped Apple Blossom Crest featuring hand painted pink roses and the font of the lamp is painted with the same pink roses. This pattern was produced in 1960. A very attractivehand painted Fenton lamp signed by Frances Burton. Painted surface is in very good condition. The brass near the bottom of the base is starting to oxidize, (see pic), only on the bottom 1/2".
