Vaseline glass can be in many different colors but are mainly in green or yellow glass. This three piece 18" Gone with the wind/ Hurricane style electric lamp decorated with a beautiful bluebird soaring.
A very rare Fenton carnival glass butterfly ornament, probably dating to the nineteen teens to early twenties, in cobalt blue. This piece is in excellent condition. It measures approximately 3 inches across the wings; it has what looks like original putty residue in the pontil snap; there is some dullness on the underside, probably from handling in the factory; and there is a small abrasion (~ 3/16") on the front of the left wing which may also be from the factory as there is no chipping around the area. The top iridescence is spectacular. This piece has been in our private collection for more than 30 years. The Standard Encyclopedia of Carnival Glass has repeatedly described this ornament as follows..."this interesting bit of glass was made as a giveaway item and attached to bon-bon, baskets, and compotes by a bit of putty when purchasers visited the Fenton factory. This would certainly explain the scarcity of the Butterfly ornament, for few are around today...." Various estimates put the number of pieces still in existence between 30 and 50 in total including all colors.Please view the photos carefully where you will be able to see any of the conditions mentioned above. Extremely rare freehand vase ca 1925. This is the only piece of freehand that has surfaced in these colors. Almost a deep Wisteria/ amethyst and a light pekin/ powder blue. It HAS been restored (see photo of base). This is the only area of restoration that can be noticed (interior of base and exterior). It was done extremely well. This vase was shown at the 2019 NFGS convention in the glass ID seminar. It will be double boxed and fully insured

This is a gorgeous Chessie By Fenton lidded jar made in a moth and light green color then hand painted by Fenton artist Marilyn Wagner. The jar is in mint condition with no roughness, scratches, loss of paint, chips, cracks or breaks anywhere on the jar or the lid. Marilyn painted Chessie as a Burmese cat with a tan face/brown stripes and both eyes open. Chessie has white and black on her paw, inside ear and mouth/whisker area. On her green blanket are white leaves in sand paint. On the base, jar body and lid are leaves, branches and white berries in sand paint. There is sparkle in some of the paint. Truly this is the most beautiful jar I've sold out of this collection painted by Marilyn Wagner. The jar was bought by the collector I'm selling for and never used except as a display in her Chessie jar collection. The jar is 4-3/8" in diameter and about 8" high to the top of the moth colored finial. Around the finial Marilyn painted some raised beads in various colors. Vintage Fenton Cranberry Cabbage Blown Glass Lamp 29” tall! This is the largest lamp that Fenton made. This lamp has a key turn switch that lights up the top, base, or both. Uses a 60W max. I would use a 40W bulb to be sure to not damage the clear chimney. It is in excellent condition with no damage that I can see. Here we have a wonderful Vase set made by the Fenton glass company. This set consists of 4 vases each painted with a different scene for the seasons. Each vase is made from a different color Burmese glass and rosalene glass. And each vase bears a signature of a family member. And has the four seasons 2006 logo on them. Each vase was limited to 1500 and was numbered. This set is number 409-1500. Fenton offered these vases through out the year but sold the first grouping as matched numbered sets. After those sets were sold the rest were sold individually. The vases measure between 8-9.5” t
This is a sample vase it has been signed by Dave Fetty it very dark almost burnt orange with bright white hanging hearts and vines, and a white frit rim.
